I Need Help-Quincenere

Ok heres the deal im christian and im half white half mexican. My moms sida of the family id christian and my dads side is catholic. Since me myself is christian i was wondering if im still able to have a quincenera. Ive been asking but peopel dont know becuz my uncle said only catholics do them. But i want one really bad. Well can soemone get back at me. Thank you.
