Beach Wedding
I am also planning a small inexpensive beachside wedding in South Carolina. Can anyone help with some ideas? Would LOVE to find a sandcastle cake mold, but have been unsuccessful so far--I want one that stands up--not a flat cake. Any other ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks.

We are specialist in taking bridal portraits on the beach. If you like. We can help you in the sand scene.

I have made castle cakes without molds. Are you familiar with cake decorating and how to add dowls for support? If so I can email you some instructions. Or You could go to a bakery and let them know what you want.
Have the outside of the cake covered in light brown sugar. (looks just like sand). Maybe add shell chocolates or use ice cream sugar cones for turrets, cover them with icing & brown sugar too. This is a wonderful cake idea!

I don`t have a mold, but I did have a friend give me this website www.weddingcakewonders.com to at least look at how the cakes can look - this might be enough to go off of to make your own? Thanks.
