First Dance

My daughter is getting married soon and I need to know how the first dance goes... I`ve heard that it starts out with Bride and Groom,... Then the bride`s father and groom`s mother cut in to dance with their children.... What comes after that? I`ve been told that parents from both sides end up dancing with bride and groom and then ultimately end up dancing with each other`s spouse.... I`s so confused. Thanks Julie
