Wedding Help

My fiencee and i started panning our wedding in february of 2006 to be held in october of 2007. After making some arrangements and putting down deposits on a hall and catering to ensure that we`d have enough time to pay off remaining balances , my fiencee was forced from his job due to down sizing. Does anyone know of anybody that can donate or help with these types of situations? I dont want this to seem like we are begging for your money, but after putting so much into something and it being my first marriage im really starting to worry as time quickly seems to be passing by and running out. And we are regrettably running out of options.
