If it sounds too good to be true it is. Believe me it is probably a scam. Go to google advanced search and look for angel dust dress as an exact search. Do variations, if they have scammed someone you will find a posting. Also call the better business bureau where they are located as well as the chamber of commerce.

I actually got Angel Dust Creations to fax me an order form of theirs. When she did I called Maggie Sottero and they confirmed all of the information was legit. Maggie Sottero Confirmed with me that they are a new retailer of theirs.

I would also like to know if she is for real. I was quoted a great price but do not want to proceed without more information. Thanks

I don`t know about dresses are concerned but I had problems with the seller - Melody -- Starkeeper/Angel Dust Creations. We placed an order and haven`t received the "in Stocl" item in about 3 months nad received one story after the next. On different areas of this message board I have seen poeple who have ordered from her and are awaiting answers and orders and are getting nervous.. I know myself and a few others have complained about never receiving producy and I am awaiting to see if we get refund and will post if so but some have not.

Received a refund. I am still upset that product was never received but at least money was refunded. Perhaps that will restore some faith

I have read too many complaints about Starkeeper/Angel Dust. I wouldn`t order anything from them. I think you will be sorry after you order and then get screwed over!

Where is everybody reading all of the complaints? I have been looking for anything on Angel Dust Creations but don`t come across anything

It seems all the complaints or negative things were started by Denise or K.. Other than that its mostly people getting worried, I think , because of these two people.

I believe some people who have placed orders are getting worried because they are experiencing the same scenario as we did. One customer ordered a dress and is due to get married in less then 6 weeks. Her dress was to have shipped weeks ago but she never received. Now she is told another one will be sent out immediately. I personally would be worried because she doesn`t have much time. Also if you go to the knot you may view some questionable comments as well. Thanks! I never got my purchase which didn`t cost nearly as much as dress. I was told on several occassions that it was shipping over 3 month period. I was finally successful with obtaining a refund. Now I have to hunt for that item from another vendor or make my own. But this time I will do my homework before I freely buy. Happy weddings to all!!

Hi guys- I just thought I would keep everyone updated on my story. I did just talk to Melody (starkeeper_75) and she gave me my tracking#. I should have my dress in a few days

I got my tracking number and my dress should arrive early next week as long as customs does not hold it up. I will let everyone know as soon as it arrives. I must admit the bad karma has really had me on edge as there is only 5 weeks till my wedding but i feel a lot better now that i have the shipping number

I`d like to know if all of you who are pricing through Angel Dust got your gowns (whatever designer brand) as promised .. Or got a prompt refund, and if so, was it handled well? I did receive one dress from Angel Dust. It is a Maggie w/the tags & cert. Of authenticity. I am currently talking to her about another dress as I have decided to go w/a different designer.

Don`t order from Angel Dust Creations! I have ordered from her two months ago and have have still not received my 6 bridesmaids dresses! I have had good contact through the two months until a week ago. I am unable to reach her by email or phone. On last contact, she said she just got out of the hospital and has just moved. Her phone is now disconnected. My wedding is in two months and I am confident that I will not have my dresses from angel dust! Let me know if you know any information. I need my dresses!!

I just called the Allegheny County Police and they said that it is out of their jurisdiction and that I can call the MD State police and or the sheriff in that area.
Send a certified letter demanding your money and send it return receipt requested. If you don`t hear within a few days call the numbers I`m leaving and file a complaint.

Ok, an update on what I have done. I found another address for Melody or her business also on this board
21 Park Ave, in Frostburg. This is in the jurisdiction of the Allegheny County police. I also talked with the sheriff`s office
This morning. Allegheny is going to check out the 21 Park Ave address to see if the business exists there. Otherwise
They are going to call the sheriff and have them check out the other address. I am faxing the Allegheny County police copies of the emails on this
Board so they know what they are dealing with. If you want to email me your contact information and what you are out (money, items, etc) I will forward it on to them.

I have the same complain as all of you about starkeeper_75. Eversince I paid her 2 months ago, I lost contact with her. Seeing all the concerns I am reading I finally dicided that I was trick by her.
I filed a complaint today to the FBI. I advice that people should do the same. You could fill the complain form through: http://www1.ifccfbi.gov/index.asp

This is awful I heard that a girl or two got their dres and thought she may have been ok with dresses. I got my money refunded but she had told me when I first was talking with her that she was going to get married and move to New York. Who knows...... I am not sure if she is Melody Reed or Schenck but money was being sent to Dennis Reed who she claimed was her father. I had sent a thing to BBB and to FBI Internet Fraud and called my state police who called her house. What happens when you folks call her?

Well I tried to call and email numerous times with no luck. I then sent her a certified letter cancelling my order and demanding my money back. I have also contacted both Allegheny County and the sheriff`s office up there and they are trying to track her down. I also have filed a complaint through the Internet fraud website. Very frustrating to say the least. I`m glad that I didn`t make any more payments on my gown than I did.

Our office recently received a complaint in regards to Ms. Reed. In order to direct your calls to the proper agency, you may contact Deputy Warren Carter at (301)777-5959, Allegany County Sheriff`s Office. I am familiar with this subject and I am in possession of her new address. I hope that our department is able to assist in this problem. Deputy Carter can be contacted Monday thru Friday during the daylight hours.

Ad us to the melody club. I posted on another thread My fiance` has a dress but not the one she order or one that will fit, along with everything else that was promised. I have file with the FBI, BBB, trying to get ahold of some one from the "Sottero" company, and attorney gernerals office. Found out the same things through the police dept. Trying to get ahold of Dept Carter tomorrow. Credit card company stop payment to paypal, so I believe paypal will go after her also. I wouldn`t want to be in her shes. I can`t wait to put the screws to this fraud or here her next excuse.

There are more complaionts then that but it has a lot of data. I was fortunate enough to get a refund but I believe that she will be stopped soon and that she is probably going out in hiding but if she has kids, you can`t hide forever

How many times does she need to move? I wouldn`t believe that she was in the hospital first of all because so many of us hqave had orders delayed because death in family and then because father was in hosspital - I would check to see if she was a patient at the hospital
She just keeps taking money and more money
For those of you who have not received a refund I think you should start a new message labeled lawsuit against Angel Dust/Starkeeper/Melody Reed aka Schenck and see how many may ban together and what the dolalr amount turns up
Furthermore, this is causing many of you undue stress and hardship and perhaps that could be saught after as well

She is such a good liar that my state police called her and was believing her stories

I have a Miami that I got from Melody. I specifically told her I had to have a 8 and she sent a 10. I consider myself VERY luck y though at least I have a dress. I think it just happened to be a size she had on hand before she skipped town because when i told her it was not what i ordered she blamed it on her "assistant" no checking the order.

Her assistant mailed it the wrong place, and then the next time it some how got mailed some where wrong again. Mine was only a card holder box so even if I lost out it wouldn`t have been as bad. You are lucky for getting a dress but any other legit supplier would have made an exchange.

But I got good news for all you girls my friend Debbie called me and told me that Melody was incarcerated as of two days ago. She was even told that you can go visit her. Well I just spoke with Deputy Carter and this is what he told me. The States Attorney has agreed to go through and press criminal charges. There will be a grand jury hearing and then they will return an indictment and it will immediately go to a jury trial. For those that have contacted him about your issues, you need to send him a typed signed statement detailing your complaint so he can enter it into evidence at the grand jury hearing. You can send this to him at 708 Furnace St, Cumberland, MD 21502. Grand jury meets the end of June.
