No Wedding Gift !

Several Family members did not give a card or gift to the bride & groom. How do you address this?

The wedding was 10/21/06 and the people in question attended the wedding. I`ve hear about the 1 year rule but didn`t know if that applied to attendees. I just wonder if they could have gone in on a gift or card and it got misplaced. Not sure if or how to bring it up as they are both sisters of mine.
