Please give me info on how to word invitations for a wishing well wedding.

The only polite and respectful way to request gift of cash is word of mouth. Let close family members know that you prefer cash over store bought gifts, just remember, some people will still bring you that dreaded toaster, just smile and thank them and hope included is a gift receipt.

It is completely IMPOLITE to request gifts of any kind, including cash gifts, or put where you are registered, on your invitations. The ONLY option here is to ask yoru parents/friends/bridal party to verbally tell people that you have what you need for your married life together, but will have a wishing well on the gift table for cards.
