No Father To Dance With ....
What would you do if there was no father, and the mother raised the daughter alone. Who should the daughter dance with? And what song would you recommend?

That shouldn`t be a problem. She can dance with the grandfather(s), godfather, uncles. All the close male role models in her life.

I have the same problem, only I have a family full of girls. I don`t have any uncles, brothers, or cousins that I know well. I want my fiancee to dance with his mother, but would I just skip my dance? I am also wondering who I`ll walk down the aisle with... I was thinking my mother or by myself. Any suggestions on that and the dance?

You are the focus at YOUR wedding, so scratch the father/daughter dance and make it the Mr/Mrs first dance. If you don`t have a significant male in your life, then by all means your Mom should walk you down the isle. She has earned the priviledge. OR if you have 2 young nephews (not under 6yrs) they could flank you on each side as you walk down the aise. The point is, the one "giving you away" walks you down the aisle.

Mr/Mrs first dance? What would that be? Thanks for the advice on who walks me down the aisle. You`re right... It`s not necessarily the father... It`s whoever is "giving" you away... Whoever earned it. I`m not really that close to my mother either. My grandparents raised me and my grandfather is too sick and my grandmother passed away.

It`s ok just dance with whom ever you want to or just skip it well i hope i helped a lil bit or u can also pick your best guy friend and ask him it`s just a dance bye
