Can I Make My Own Chair Covers?

Greetings all...

Just got off the phone with the rental place, where they want $3.25 each for chair covers. For the same price, I can rent chairs! In any case, that`s too much money. I need at least 120, and I`m not spending over $400 for something that won`t even be mine when I`m done with them.

But - I just bought a good quantity of tulle on ebay. Surely there`s some way that even a non-sewing person like me can use tulle to make a simple cover for my chairs? I`m thinking of something that I can make ahead of time and just slip on the chairs when we`re decorating the hall.

Please help!
