1/2 Birthday Party

Does anyone know where I can find some cool ideas for a 1/2 birthday party where you have a birthday party at the six month date instead of on the actual birthday. My daughter has a summer birthday when nobody is around for a party so I want to have it at her six month so she can invite her friends. I have seen a few articles and they look so cute with "half" a cake etc.

Desperate for help!
