Betta Centerpieces?
Ok, we have come up with a possible centerpiece idea. We were thinking about using big vases with transparent red rocks on the bottom and a betta fish inside. My sister suggested lighting up the vases as well. I LOVE this idea, but I can`t seem to find what I would need to do this.
I need either:
A) A waterproof light that emits a clear/red hue that is battery powered/solar powered (I won`t have access to electrical outlets for every table).
Or
B) some kind of a light display that I could set the vase on top of. I know I`ve seen something like this for those little glass sculptures, but I can`t seem to find what I`m looking for.
I`m not sure how to find either of these things. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas to help me get/find this effect, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you!

Hello,
Just an idea that might work....
If you take either a white cardboard box, or if you can get a clear plastic box( at a lot of craft stores you can get either. But if its a plastic one make sure it has a removeable top so you can flip it upside down. You can also check Target, Walmart, Christmas Tree Shops, etc)
If you have a cardboard box, you can flip it upside down, cut a goodsize whole in the bottom. You can get electric votive candles... They look just like a votive candle would in a glass holder only it takes a battery and wouldnt burn anything!! Place it in the box and place the vase, fish, rocks and all on top of it!!!
Only difference with the clear plastic box is for the vase and the light might not be as bright!! you can always place a peice of shear material over the box for an elegant effect.
I found a website through Google for the candles for you: they have a few different options. Look under battery operated.

They even say on one of the votives that they are water tight so you could try to put them right into the vase!!! Also it looks like they have color options also!! :)
Good Luck!! Congratulations!!!
