How Do I Become A Wedding Planner?

My name is Nathalie and I am a sophmore at the University of Miami and back in my country I usually coordinate my friends wedding and I realy enjoyed it and I was wondering what I can major in to help me continue on that path or is there something else I should go through before I can be a wedding planner.
