Ice Luminaries

Hi everyone,

Someone told me what sounds like a neat way no have luminaries at any winter type formal if you would plan on using candles outdoors.

She said we would need to try one and see how it works, but I thought I would also pass the idea on to whoever is interested.

Fill a milk carton, tin can, or a balloon with water.
When it is almost, but not completly frozen you would empty any water in the middle. That is where you`d be able to place the tea light or votive candle. You`d keep them frozen until just before you use them.

They may not last long, but I bet they`d be pretty. If any one gets a chance to try this out before I do, could you let me know how you make out?
