Ceremony Music-- Looking For Ensemble Advice!

I`m in the middle of planning my Fall `07 wedding and after hearing a solo harpist perform for a wedding I saw on television, I was considering having one for my own because it sounded so absolutely beautiful.

I want my bridesmaids to enter to Pachabel`s Canon in D, and the harp sounded great on its own for the intro, but it needed a little more "oomph" after the first several counts... So here is where you all could help me out:

First, have any of you been to a wedding where a harpist played for the ceremony? In your opinion is it worth the money?

And secondly, the "oomph" I was looking for-- would it sound ok for a violin to chime in with the harpist... Or a piano, maybe? I`m not a music expert so if you have any reccomendations for musical instrument ensembles, I`m all ears!

I`m not expecting a full orchestra sound, but I would like your advice so that my guests will remember the beautiful music that helped build up to the moment when my fiance and I recite our beautiful vows!
