Hi Juliette,

I am not sure what you consider hig-end but......

We are in the process of planning my cousin`s daughter`s Quince....on February 24, 2007 at the Birdside Banquet Hall in Miami, Florida. Her theme is Winter Wonderland. She will do the traditional changing of the shoes, presenting the last doll to her younger sister, the candle light ceremony. We are also having a christian ceremony @ the church where the tiara & scepter will be presented among other small gifts. Because the theme is Winter Wonderland we are going to have the low lying fog (dry ice) for when the guest enter the ballroom and when the quinceanera is presneted and then snow falling when she dances with her father and her court. A choreographer has been hired to teach the court of 8 couples the three dances. We are decorating the church, banquest hall and its stage with snowflakes and magic snow. Although traditional in some aspects, we are planning a spectacular and different event It`s going to be an enchanted Winter Wonderland - not christmas. The court will dress in formal wear with the girls using muffs to keep their hands warm and their escorts will wear tuxedos with have scarfs. I am not sure what the standards are for a high-event in terms of $$$$$`s spent but I can assure you we are planning an awesome party. One which will leave our guests talking about for days and months..at least until my daughter`s 15 in 2008. Its not very often you find snow in Miami Florida or ever, except at the malls during christmas - they do the falling snow or at a children`s event they have the mounded fake snow.

Anyways, if you would like to consider my cousin, please email me at jmelendez@thebermangroup.net

Thank you and good luck on your search and hopefully we will meet this time or if you are still searching for Quinces for the year 2008 I hope my daughter`s Quince which will be on May 17, 2008, be considered. She is having a Cinderella Theme. Our plans for that one are also pretty spectacular. We haven`t quite budgeted for that one as of yet. We are just in the planning stages and listing the things she wants fireworks, chocolate fountain, Cinderella coach with 2 white horses to carry her from church to reception. Her court will have their limos. She wants 14 couples, choreographer etc. So we are having a lot of fun right now planning for my cousin`s daughter`s quince and doing the research for my daughter`s quince and before end of year we will decide on a place to have the event. We are looking for a place which will hold approximately 150 -200 people. Very exciting.

The only difference is that you won`t find too much drama like in Super Sweet 16. We want to remain focused on the traditions of the event and making it as memorable and special for my daughter as well as to all our family and friends.

My husband and I will be giving a sweet sixteen party for my daughter next year on July 20, 2007, at the Signature Grand in Davie, Florida. I am interested in having her party published in a party magazine. We will be having about 200 guests and she will have 16 people in her court, similar to a quince tradition.

Hi, I`m not in Florida but if you find yourself in Granada Hills (San Fernando Valley), California, I am having a high end quinceanera for my 3rd daughter. My 1st and 2nd daughters` quinces were fabulous. They are high-end but I am also very budget-conscious. Write me if you are here end of January, `07 - qtcc@aol.com

This message is for the journalist that was looking to publish high end quinces/sweet 16s in her magazine. If interested, I had a Super Sweet Sixteen for my daughter at the Marriott Biscayne last year on August 11, 2007. I was thinking of Fiestas Magazine, but they seem to be booked. We had one of the best in each service of suppliers, which I consider the best. Please call me at 954-454-9712 leave mes, or, email me at relotours@yahoo.com.
Thanks, Monique
