Do I Need To Have Groomsmen?

Groomsmen are not necessary. The Bridesmaids can walk down the aisle alone (this is very common) or in pairs. However, the pictures and ceremony look better if there are groomsmen. My fiance`s groomsmen are walking the Mothers down the aisle and seating them. We want them to feel like they are part of the ceremony and not just standing there. Nowadays, anything goes in weddings and a lot of people promote making your wedding personal and straying away from the norm.
