Kids At The Wedding?

I am getting married for the 2nd time and my fiance and I don`t want children to attend. It is a Buddhist ceremony and very small. My Finance`s sister has now started a family riff over this. Is it unreasonable for us to have the Wedding the way we want?

This topic is becoming more popular with weddings. I too requested no kids at my wedding. However, our nieces, nephews and kids in the bridal party was able to attend.

Suggestions:

1. Set up a kids table with fun things to do
2. Reserve a room in hotel or banquet facility, order pizza and arrange for a teenager to babysit

Im not having them at my wedding at all. Expecially if you have to pay per person for the reception like i have to,then i look at it like this if you are having alcohol there and the parents are drinking why bring your children if you do not want them that is you and your fiance wedding do what you want
