Marriage Vow Renewal
My wedding anniversary is September 11th, and understandably it`s not a day to celebrate anymore. My wife wants us to renew our vows and celebrate that instead. We`ll be in Myrtle Beach at Easter which seems like a good time for it. Any ideas anyone?

It sounds like celebrating your anniversary on the date of your wedding would be a perfect day. Our country must heal. Celebrate freedom when you go to Myrtle Beach and the deaths of all those who perished on 9/11 will not be for nothing. We cannot stop celebrating our lives, if we do the terrorist win. Do we stop celebrating everytime tragedy hits? Our marriages are sanctified by God...your wedding date is blessed by Him, on September 11...

September 11 is a hard day for everyone, however, remember if we choose to stop living, and celebrating the important things in our lives, then the terrorist have succeded in tearing this Nation apart. We must learn to celebrate. Celebrate the lives of those who were lost that day. Celebrate births, and marriages. For that is what has made this nation so proud of who we are. We learn to mourn the past, but live for the future. The other question would be, would all those people that parished that day, would they want you to mourn them the rest of your life. No....they were proud and they understand that life does go on. Celebrate your anniversary when you first said your vows and be proud to do so.
