Outdoor Wedding Dilemma
Hello fellow brides-
I have a problem in that I want a tropical ceremony in hawaii, he wants to be married closer to home (he prefers Chicago where we`re both from) so that our whole family will be there. I am willing to compromise, but I just cannot find an outdoor place in Chicagoland to have the ceremony. Anyone know of any ideas???

How about having a luau in a rental hall. A friend of mine did that and it was beatiful. She had a bowl of floating candles as centerpieces w flowered necklaces surrounding bowl. Little white lights dangling from ceiling like the night sky. All guests recieved flowered necklaces as favors. You can even rent peacock wicker chairs for bride and groom at head table. Hope this gives you what you both want ,your hawaiian theme with close family and friends.

My son is having an outdoor wedding this July at "The Grove in Glenview". It`s a Chicago suburb nature area with a beautiful old house (Redfield Center) on the property. It`s a beautiful area for a small wedding (85 to 125 people). The phone # is 847-298-0095. Hope this helps.
