SECOND WEDDING

Hi Sharon. I`m getting married for the second time in Feb. 07. My 20yr old son will give me away and also be in the wedding. Because I got married in front of a JP with no family there the first time, I decided I was going all out this time! I just turned 48 and my future husband is 50. Now he`s never been married, so I`m also doing some of this for his mom. I have a beautiful ivory wedding gown with the entire back of the dress in deep red for Valentines. We`re getting married in a victorian house that`s used for weddings and will have 150 guests. You know, this is our wedding and some people have said they wouldn`t go through all this at this time of our lives, but I`ve always wanted a nice wedding with the dress, flowers, cake, pictures and all. Have your children in the wedding. Our invitations include my sons name as he and I join my finance to now become a family. Let the children be a part of your union and it will be something they will always remember. You don`t have to go all out on the wedding dress if you don`t feel comfortable with that. You can always buy one more simple, like some of the ones made for beach weddings. They are very pretty and lacy, just not all heavy and poofy (like mine is). I wish you lots of luck. Enjoy this....it`ll be something the kids will always remember sharing with the two of you, instead of just watching.....
