Prom Location And Decorating Tips

I am a sophmore in Michigan and I just joined the prom commitee and I need to help find a locaiton to hold the prom. This year there having it on a boat so I kind of want to top that. How I don`t know. Our theme is Mardi Gras and I also need some tips on decorations. So if there is anyone out there that could help I would be greatful. By the way our school is near Jackson and Hillsdale and approximentally 200-300 people wil be there give or take a few
