WHAT DAVID`S BRIDAL DID TO MY FAMILY

David`s Bridal in Wilmington, DE was rude to my wife and told her that she actually needed an appointment just to come in to their store to look for dresses. Then the sales clerk looked at my wife and condescendingly said, "Your sizes are over here!" in referring to mother-of-the-bride dresses. Happily, we took our business elsewhere. My daughter is Maid of Honor for her sister`s wedding next week (27 august 2006). Her alterations were finalized and I insisted that the bridesmaid gown be tried on. To my chagrin, the "finished" dress showed the underslip in no less than 4 different places AFTER it had been "professionally fitted, measured, altered, etc." Today, 20 august 2006, is ONE day AFTER the fact that the Springfield, VA store LOST my older daughter`s wedding gown. Store manager AMY said that it has never happened in my 6 weeks on the job and tried every excuse in the book to "butter me up" so that I will not take legal action. My daughter had taken the wedding gown there for the final pressing. It certainly WAS final...BECAUSE THEY LOST THE WEDDING GOWN! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? I would be happy to tell the stories if you want to call me: (302) 731-1347. Until then...David`s cannot be trusted to deal satisfactorally with ANY bride!
