Husbands 30th Birthday

I am doing a very simple party, I wanna keep it as close to a regular party as possible except I have to rent a hall because the guest list is HUGE. So it will be potluck, byob, and now someone mentioned to me asking for money instead of gifts because all he wants is stuff for his baby (Truck). Seems like a good idea but I need advice as to how to word that in an invite. Also if I said something like, if you were planning on getting a gift for Adam this year, his list is about 2 pages long of truck stuff so if you don`t know what to get him I will have a wishing well there. Only problem I don`t want to use "wishing well" any other ideas? Thank-You all so much!
