Fall Wedding Ideas

I just got engaged last weekend and am planning a fall wedding for October 13, 2007. I am having a hard time picking the color scheme. I am thinking red, yellow and orange. I don`t know what color for the bridesmaids though. If anyone has any pictures of anything that has to do will a fall wedding or any ideas, it would be much appreciated!! I also am looking for ideas on decorating for the reception such as favors, centerpieces, etc. Please e-mail me any ideas or post them here. Thanks!!

I think orange or even red dresses would be nice and not that hard to find. I have seen "Fall In Love" Leaf Glass coaster 4 pc sets at http://abridalaffair.home.att.net under Kate Aspen. They are about the cheapest anywhere I have seen on most things and if not they try to match. Plus very helpful. I think they were 1.75 each. Pumpkin decorations are really easy for find this year after Halloween and they save for next year. You can email me at bethannca@att.net.

Hi! I`m getting married in October of this year and my bridesmaid dresses are called Merlot. They are berry colored. If you go to Dessy.com and look at the dreses the color is Merlot. My flowers are orange and burgandy calla lilies and purple and orange roses. The girls flowers are the same just lighter. We are having copper accent colors at the recepetion and church. Hope this helps!

Hi. Our wedding is in Oct 2006. I am doing a very autumn wedding. Bigtime sunflowers. My cake top and bouquet are what I call "woodsy". Sunflowers, catails, autumn leaves, berries etc. If you`d like to share email me mystery8486@yahoo.com

I am getting married November 2006, and here are some of the ideas we are using. The colors of the bridal party were varied, because fall has so many beautiful colors it was hard to pick just one. I chose dark chocolate brown, burnt orange, and sage green for the parties dresses. The colors look beautifull together.

For the reception we chose carved pumpkins surrounded by garland to adorn the table tops and we are using 3 large pumpkins on pedistals carved with our monogram to add to the decor. As for our favors we had 5 inch pumpkin pies made and put into small boxes wrapped with rafia, pumpkin cookies would also be a great idea. We will also be serving a traditonal turkey dinner. How often do you get so many of your family and friends together to celebrate the holidays.

I hope these ideas were helpfull. Good Luck!

I am also planning an October 13, 2007 wedding, and was hunting for ideas. I have come up with using pumpkins, corn stalks, fake fall leaves, and mums for decorations (also considering if haybales would work).
I am having a hard time picking colors, there are so many to choose from and I don`t want the dress colors to get lost in all the decorations.
I was also considering using fall hershey kisses as party favors, or maybe even candycorn.
Any other ideas would be great!

I am also getting married 10-13-07. Has anyone thought of some way to have bridesmaids carry small pumpkins instead of bouquet? I am toying with this idea.
