Re: Wedding Program Wording
The wedding day as I have been told by SO many people is your day! Make it how you want it. A bit of endearment is a great thing on such a day of celebration... Brag to the world that you are delightfully proud that your brother is doing you the honor of standing with you. In my daughter`s Knot page, you can see the personalities of her attendants by the way she has written her heart about them. A niece got married in July... She had a pretty Knot page, but spirit and spunk did not come through. Even at church Sunday, someone came to me and told me how delighted they were to read my daughter`s page and the joy that came through. I`m so sorry to hear that your dad passed, may he be looking on with joy for you in this day. In "olden" days, the role of the one standing with the bride was one of great responsibility, not just privilege. Throw in "brides dear brother" and you may actually hear a few "awes", but whether they are audible or not, everyone will NOT fault you for your boldness in proclaiming his role. Go for it girl!!!
But, even more than this glorious day... I pray you will have a lifetime of joy walking beside the love of your life and your most kindred spirit. God`s riches blessings to you.
