Loking For Reception Place In Maryland Clause To Silver
My fiance and I are looking for a place to hold our reception. We do not live in the same state as our families, so we are going to hold the wedding and reception where they live so that more will be able to share in our special day. We have some reception locations in mind and would like to start setting up meetings to see the location and taste the available foods. However, we do not have many opportunities to do this together. He has two days off each week, whereas my job gives me every other week off. It would be easier for me to go to the locations with a family member or friend, ask my questions and try the foods, and "report" what I find to my fiance so we can pick together or at least narrow down the places he will need to visit with me. Would it be "acceptable" for me to do this without my fiance present? I do not want the reception halls to treat me differently because he is not with me for the preliminary rounds.

I did the prlim hunting myself and then had my fiance go with me to the couple we had narrowed it down to. A lot less stressful than worrying about when the 2 of you will have time to do it together! It is best to have someone go with you though to avoid possibly feeling pressured.
