Colgate Simply White

Hello, has anyone tried whitening their teeth? I know that the earlier home products were harmful to teeth, but are the new ones still bad? If you have found out any info I would love to hear it!

Becky, I have tried Crest White Strips and Colgate Simply White. Both work pretty well, but my teeth were pretty white to begin with. The white strips are ok, but taste horrible. The top one stays on, but the bottom one is sliding all over and is disgusting after 30 minutes! Simply white seems to work quicker and you only have to keep your mouth open about 30 seconds and then just don`t eat or drink for 30 minutes. And you can`t really taste it. They are both supposed to be safe for dental work, but I don`t have any, so I can`t vouch for that. Simply White has seemed to irritate my gums a little, but once you stop using it, that goes away. Good luck. :) I`d try the simply white first. It is easier (and cheaper!)

I have tried the white strips (and still have plenty left for my wedding) and I don`t think they`re that bad. The taste is quite different, but not that bad. But they do work very well, as a matter of fact I`ve had 4 different people in the past week tell me my teeth are really white. Made me feel very good! =) Now, simply white is cheaper but I did buy the white strips off of Ebay for a very inexpensive price. They were brand new and came in a sealed box. If price is an issue (as it is with me) you may want to try searching on Ebay first before buying in a store. Good luck!

I tried the Crest White Strips, and it did a number on my throat. It did make my teeth white, but personally, I`d never use that again. I recently tried the Colgate Simply White, and I liked it. 30 seconds a day, twice a day, and no, no bad taste. But to each his/her own!
