Thirteen Only Once!

Okay, so im only thirteen once and i have no idea what to do. So my best friend and i have birthdays in october that are only like 2 days apart and so we were thinking of throwing a party together but i dont know if my parents would go for it knowing that my parents dont like her very much. I would totally go for this but once again: my parents. I love alot of the ideas here but would a theme be too childish? what kind of activities could i have that arnt that childish? truth or dare and spin the bottle are a must on my list but how do i get my parents to just leave us alone. A dance party is awsome but a dj? please let me know what i can do.
