A Friend`s Wedding

My husband`s good friend of 10 years, is in love to a very nice woman from Austria. She has been over here for visits, and they decided that the only way they can be together is if they got married. So they made arrangements for her to fly here to america, and then they`d fly to las vegas for a week.. Well, she came over last week, after 9 months of being apart. Everything was all set, but they didn`t go through with it.

Now, they have rescheduled for may 26, 2003. And they want my husband and me to go with them.


What do u think we should do?..

And if we were to go w/ them, what is appropriate to wear for their wedding? a tux/suit for my husband? a formal dress/ or casual dress suit for me?

And also, i`m not really close to her, but the handfull of times i have met her, she is so friendly, i feel like i`ve known her for years.. So do you think i should throw her a shower... Or bachlorette party?

I`m in desperate need of opinions...Please HELP!.....
