Wedding Plans Hit Hard By Hurricane Katrina
I had planned to be married this year at my home in Slidell La. I had either bought or charged most everyting that we would need for the wedding. We lost everything that we ever owned to Hurricane Katrina and the only thing i found in the debris when we returned was one wedding shoe. My fiance told me that if I found the other shoe the wedding would still be on , if not, it would be off(he better had been joking)needless to say several months later I went to the lot where my house used to be with him and my mother and I found the other shoe. I had planned a dolphin theme wedding because I love dolphins and I lived on the lake but those plans have changed. I have been putting the wedding on the back burner mostly because I can`t really afford it right now especially since I am still paying credit card bills from the first plans and now have nothing, but I found a wedding spot on the internet Louisiana Castle and it seems to be the perfect spot for a wedding and I am now thinking of a Cinderalla theme since it`s a castle and because the shoes I had found in the debris were clear vinyl (glass slippers ) I refuse to let Hurricane Katrina rule my life any longer, she got my home all of my possessions and I`ll be damned if I `m going to allow this hurricane to take away all of my dreams. We may live in a Fema trailer afterwards but at least we`ll be together. If anyone one has any ideas on Cinderalla wedding themes or has any wedding items for sale at a good price please contact me. Thanks, Tinal
