I`m So Lost!

I am planning a wedding, but i have no idea where to start. I don`t know where i want to have it, how we`ll pay for it, or anything. I know i want it to be in the late summer/early fall of 2007, and that my colors will be pinks and greens and platinum. How do you find a good venue for the ceremony if you don`t belong to a church? where do you begin??? we only want to spend a max. Of 5000.00. Any ideas???
