Practically New Strapless Organza A-Line Bridal Gown
Beautiful Ivory Strapless Organza A-Line Gown. Practically Brand New.
I wore this gown for less than 30 minutes during a private ceremony at my home on Saturday July 1, 2006. This gown retails at David’s Bridal for $399. David’s also charged me an additional $150 for alterations to fix the hemline and move the zipper, which shocked me because I had no idea alterations were so expensive. If you purchase the gown in the store, it will run you over $550 after tax. You can view the gown on David’s Website at www.davidsbridal.com. Click on “bridal gowns”, Click on “View All Gowns”, Click on page 8. My gown is the second gown on page 8—Item #T8792. I absolutely fell in love with the dress the minute I saw it and wanted it for my wedding even though I knew I’d wear it for just a few minutes. For those brides who love this gown as much as I do, here are my measurements: Height: 5’5”, Weight: 140 lbs, Bust: 32B (sad but true). There’s plenty of room up top for a bustier bride though, so don’t worry. Waist: 30.5, Thighs/Hips: 40.5. I can’t accept less than $300 for the gown because it was worn for only 30 minutes and is in the same perfect condition it was in when I took it from the store. We did the ceremony, took photos, then the gown went right back into the garment bag. I will throw in a few free items for incentive though. The veil retails for $99 at David’s. Please note that the veil I selected is different than the veil in the photo on David’s site…the trim on the veil the model is wearing was way too heavy so I went with a thinner, more elegant trim. The veil drops below the fingertips and it’s yours free and I’ll even throw in the shoes (also brand new)—which are a size 7 ½…a strappy ivory sandal with a 4” heel (very sexy). I wore this shoe for a short time so I was fine, but unless you’re used to really high heels, you’ll want to change into something more comfy for the reception or substitute with your own shoe. The sandal retails at Bakers Shoes for $48…and because I know how ridiculously expensive weddings are, I’ll even throw in the hair accessories (tuck combs/bobby pins with rhinestones). I can send personal photos of wedding ceremony to interested brides to be but please check out the gown on David’s website. My total cost was $696…your cost only $300 plus the cost to ship the item to you. This is one stop shopping—a real steal. Best wishes to all of you beautiful brides-to-be.
