Just so you know, you might hear some negative things on here just because of your age and all, but I`ll tell ya, I`m 24, and there are two couples that I know of that I went to high school with and they dated ONLY each other and knew as soon as they got out they were going to get married. Well, both did, one of the couples I know has a child, and both couples are still married so as long as you are truly in love, don`t listen to the negativity and overcome the odds of people saying its only puppy love because only you two know the truth. I just hate how people can be judgemental about age on here because you can be truly in love at that age.
With that being said, since you will only be a freshman I would wait a little bit just because styles will change, what you want will change probably, tastes will change, prices will change. Thats all I`ve been hearing and it sucks, I know, because my wedding is two years away and all I want to do is start planning and buying things which I have bought a little bit but nothing big yet. I don`t think there is anything wrong though with looking through bridal magazines and wedding type books just to give you some idea of what you are wanting to go for. I would say though, probably start your actual planning about 1 year and a half before because things do book up fast and it can be stressful. Hope that this helps! Unless of course you live in a big city start a little earlier like 2 years. I live in a small town and things don`t book up as fast so people just kinda look at me like I`m nuts when I tell them its two years away. Again, hope this helps!
