Sparklers Or Rice

My daughter is getting married June 2003 in the evening. We were thinking about using sparklers for their departure but heard about smoke problems and burn holes in veils. Any other suggestions for an evening departure.

Here`s a novel idea: go to your PARTY SUPPLY store and ask about "GLOW NOVELTIES"--what these items are, is that they GLOW-IN-THE-DARK.

Ask about the "ASST BI-COLOR CRAZY GLOW LIGHTSTICKS," THE "RAVE BEAM RINGS," AND THE "GLOW SPARKLERS."

I was married June 2002 and we used sparklers. They were a novel idea, but the timing is a bit of a pain. I didn`t have any problems with holes in my dress or vail (they stayed far enough away from me), but it didn`t turn out as magical as I had expected. It was still a cute idea though.
