Murder Mystery Games?

My friend is turning 13 and she is doing a Murder Mystery theme... Or she would if she had some game ideas! We were going to watch a season of Diagnosis Murder, play creepy music, have dip with finger shaped carrot sticks standing up out of it with almond slices for finger nails.... Only thing missing is some games... Everything I found so far you have to buy.... Does anyone have ideas? (A little more creative than Clue the board game please?) Thanks!
