Out Of Town Guests

95% if our wedding guests are coming in from out of town, how do we keep them busy without having to feel like we have to entertain them the entire time they are here and how do we keep them out of our way while we do last minute plans?

I had the same situation and what it came down to was that I didn`t need to worry about them, they all took care of themselves quite nicely! Don`t feel you have to be host for your guests for days on end. If you feel they will be bored, include some brochures and recommendations for local entertainment and dining.

HOTEL, OR A BREAD & BREAKFAST INN!

Good luck in your endeavors.

We are also having a wedding where almost all of the guests are from out of town. I don`t think it has to be a great concern of yours. Most likely they will understand all of the last minute things that need done. I would recommend putting together some brochures for them for things they can see and do. If you know where they are staying then you can have the brochures waiting for them in their room along with a short handwritten notecard welcoming them, or call them if you can. This will help make them feel welcomed and glad that they made the trip.
Since most of our guests are relatives from out-of-town we want to invite them to the rehersal dinner. This could get quite expensive so instead of having a formal sit-down dinner we are just having kind of a get-together at my parents house, where your out-of-town guests can come and go.
