Attire And Color Help Please!

Hey everyone! First I want to say that some of the things I`ve read on here have helped me tremendously. For one, not going to David`s Bridal. But I need help with my colors and not so much attire, but opinions on it.

With the attire, my hubby to be (he isn`t the type of person that goes for the traditional look... He likes to be a little different..) wants to wear like black with small white pinstripe pants, long sleeve white shirt with some type of cufflinks, black long tie, suspenders, maybe a fedora type hat kinda (I can`t think of the actual name of the hat), and thinking about carrying some type of cane or something.. But maybe not. I really don`t have a problem with it at all because it will be different but I`m afraid it will look like a theme wedding and I don`t want that at all. Does anyone think that it`ll look like a theme? I really hope not.. If so though, it doesn`t matter because I`m still going to wear my traditional white wedding gown. Just wanted some opinions.

Also, with the colors (I`m kinda difficult.. Lol) we are having our wedding in August but I don`t want fall colors. I`ve always had my heart set on lighter colors like pinks, peaches, something like that. Would it be weird to still have those colors for a August wedding? And I can`t just simply move the date to better accomodate the colors because basically I`ll be graduating college soon. I`ll be graduating in the spring (May) but I want a couple months between the two so I`m not rushing to finish my degree and finish the wedding planning you know. That would be REALLY hectic!! Opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, and I`m clueless as to where to start or really anything and I don`t want to get "taken for" since I don`t know much about it.. So any help, opinions, pictures, anything would be greatly appreciated. Oh, and in case you are wondering my age or anything like that I am 24, I am in Indiana, getting married in Indiana, and my email address is Bsuprincess24@aol.com

Sorry this is so long and I look forward to hearing from people!

My daughter`s wedding is Sept. 2, and her colors are pink, ivory and black. Pink can be used any time of the year -- and August is still summer.
Use what you love--- your wedding is a personal relection of you and your groom.
