Ineed Decoration And Ceremony Ideas..Please??
I`m geeting married on Valentine`s Day. Unfortunately, I`ve left it until last minute. I need some good ideas on how to have a nice, small, and inexpensive wedding and reception. It`s going to have a Valentine theme and only about 75 guests. Any help would soooo be appreciated. Any honeymoon ideas???

Try checking out your local dollar stores or even Big Lots if your area has one. You can find wonderfuyl inexpensive items. Try using Candleholders with Red & White Candles alternate colors to carry out the theme. Use Heart shaped doilies as coasters. Buy the decorated clear Valentines day Bags that are for Treats & have Heart shaped chocolate lollipops made to give as favors to your guests. You can even buy paper plates & napkins to use.
Hope This Helps

I dont know if you have a Marshalls, Tuesday Morning or a TJMax. But if you do check them out they have great stuff (really original stuff too) at great prices. You could find wedding favors (picture frames, candles, baskets, ect) and they have stuff you could use to decorate too! There stock is always changing but its always great.

I am doing the same. What I came up with is a clear glass bowl (5.00) with floating heart shaped candles for the centerpieces. Have all your slow songs that are going to be played at your wedding burned on 75 cd`s for favors. Also place them at each seat. It looks nice on the table. It costs about 10-20.00 for 100 cd`s.You can burn them yourself. You can also make a valentines theme for the cover of them. Find an inexpensive hall and call around local resteraunts for your caterer. My hall was 500.00 and the steakhouse menue was 20-25.00 a head. If the resteraunt caters, they will set up the hall and some include the cake....... Go to Vegas and party it up.

I had a very low budget reception. I had to cut corners wherever I could. I found that some bakeries actually do "finger food" type catering. It was not going to be expensive. I actually ended up going with a group of sisters that did sort of small time catering for weddings and the like. I heard about them through a girl who had used them for her wedding. It turned out great. People just raved about how good the food was. So ask around and call around. It never hurts to look in the yellow pages and call restaurants and bakeries to see what they offer and their prices.
I think the floating candle idea is really good. Look for clearance sales on them. I don`t know if you have a Dollar Tree in your area, but sometimes they have them. Wal-Mart.com sales flowers in bulk for REALLY good prices. This may be a way to add some red flowers in the mix. I have also seen the little hard candy hearts w/ messages scattered in the center of the table. For favors have a pretty crystal or silver bowl or platter filled with hershey kisses. Instead of buying expensive toasting glasses, my husband and I toasted with the old fashioned coke bottles. Everyone thought it was a really cute idea. Look around in friends, neighbors or family`s yards for greenery that you like. Someone may have ivy or grapevine growing. It is beautiful to place on tables or around windows. Hope these suggestions help.
