Teen Party Ideas

Cool party ideas for young teens? My soon-to-be 14 year old daughter is desperate for some party games that don't cost a lot of money (none) and don't require her parents to drive all over town getting stuff.

She's invited 30-35 boys and girls mostly aged 13 for this Saturday night. She says they'll play Truth or Dare because it's "interesting". Ahem. She is wracking her brains and ours trying to come up with other fun stuff for them to do that's not lame.

She says the kids are kind of shy about dancing with each other so we need games to break the ice.

Please, a desperate parent cries out for your help!

What my friend had for her is a jiant game of manhunt. It doesnt cost anymoney and its SoOoOo much fun cuz girls and guys can play it. What it is is you seperate into two teams one team counts and the other hides outside. (You play around your neighborhood) when they get to 100 they go and find them when they see someone they have to run and tag them while they try and run away. If they do get taged they go to a jail(a mailbox or sairs or something) while their team mates try and get them out of jail. You win when everyone is in jail or after a hour.it doesnt seem like a hour.

You should first have votes and stuff on which music to play first to get everyone hyped over the party... Then everyone will be so into the music and stuff theyll be ready to dance. Not too many games because itll turn into a kids party instead of being a young adults party.
And dont just do one vote be creative with them make up as many as you can just dont go over five. Trust me following this advice will put your daughter in the popular crowd at school and her party will be named best of the year. After that make tham feel that thier opinions matter even more ask them are they ready to dance. If anything goes wrong with the fun of the party dont try to help... It only makes things worst when a parent does that. Just tell your daughter to think instead of panicing and im sure shell figure somehting out. And by the way this is jameise(ja-mees) tell your daughter i said hi,and happy birthday

I am also 13 going on 14 and when ever I go to partys they always have music on when your coming in, as long as your daughter is on the dance floor dancing with some of her friends other people are likely to do the same!I hope this works for you!Hope your daughter has a great party!!!

Hi I am a 14 yearold and even though we might be teenagers we still like those silly games like pin the tail on the donkey and a pinyata. Also maybe like make your own snack or something
