I just got married June 22, 2002 and I used a wine/cranberry color as my main color and then accented everything with gold. It was really nice and classy. My colors started out from my bouquet, which I wanted to be bright, spring colors. Pastals are also good summer colors.

I`m also getting married in June 2004. I"ve always wanted sage dresses with lavendar accents. I think I`m still going with that but I"m looking for other ideas. I always worry about the colors with the time of year.

Hey! I`m getting married June 7, 2003 and the colors I`m using are Celendon, which is kind of like a sage color, and Lavender. My dress is the "Sarchi" from Maggie Sottero, and those colors match perfect with the dress.

I`m getting married July 2003, and have decided to go with baby blue/periwinkle, grape/plum, and silver. Which I think will go nicely with my dress (Maggie Sottero "Dion")

I will be having my reception in June as well. I decided to go with fresh cut flowers as the centerpieces. I will buy these from Sam`s Club since they offer a wide variety of bunches in many colors. Stick with basics, something very colorful and natrual. Add a couple of votives with mirrors underneath and the color will shine.

I think that good colors for the summer are like cranberry/maroon - colors around there. For spring- pastel colors.

I am getting married in the middle of May. We are useing periwinkle (purple / blue combo) and yellow (subdued......not school bus yellow) On the color wheel, these colors are complimentary....which means that they make each other look great! They are perfect for a spring / summer wedding.
Good luck!

I`m getting married in June and our colours are going to be Lilac and cream. Think Hydrangeas. They come in all sorts of colours (depending on the acidity of the soil) and can range from white to yellow to blue, purple, pink and anywhere in between.

I was married on June 8th 2002. I chose black simple dresses for my bridemaids dresses. My dress was a very light ivory color. In order to bring more color into the wedding, I used lavender, tangerine, and light peach roses for all the boquets. I think it turned out wonderful! I was very impressed at how black dresses made the wedding look so formal. All the bridesmaids were very happy with the color also. Good luck on your decision for colors and congratulations!

I am getting married on June 19, 2004 and we are using wine, hunter green, and ivory. My dress in ivory and caffe so we will use the cafe or champagne color as accents and is pulling together very nicely. I can tell you this, follow your heart as to what you want because I had people trying to change my mind about my colors because they said those were too dark for the summer and I wouldn`t find dresses and so on but I stuck to it and had no trouble finding dresses in the colors I needed. Good Luck!

Congrats to everyone on their engagements and weddings. I am also getting married in June 2004. The 26th to be exact! I am having a very hard time deciding on the colors that I will use. A light teal color has always been my favorite, but I just don`t know. My brother just got married on June 8th, 2003 and we (as bridesmaids) wore black dresses that had a strip of white cut out in the back, and a line of white across the front at the chest. The dresses were strapless and BEAUTIFUL. The Junior Bridesmaids wore a "Hot Pink" dress and I thought that it was georgous. In the beginning I thought that the colors would be ugly for a June wedding, but it turned out awesome. If someone would like to see pictures, let me know and I will scan them and e-mail them to you.
