Some Advice On Wedding Colors
I am getting married in june of 2007. My wedding colors are Brown and pink. Has anyone seen wedding colors for these? Im kind of stuck because I do not know if I should have the brown in only the bridesmaids dresses and at the reception have maybe white table and chair covers with a pink sash around the chairs. I wasnt sure if the white would not look right? If anyone has seen or even has pictures of a pink and brown wedding for ceremony and reception can you send them my way? thanks so much

Hi, You can choose brown/chocolate in June. Yes, I would suggest have brown as an accent, especially in the dress so that you can lighten up the arrangements with shades of pink. I wouldn`t choose a bridesmaid dress that was heavy (a lot of material) especially in the spirng/summer season. I have helped with a wedding before were the colors were chocolate and pink. The dress actually had both colors used, it was very elegant and fun at the same time. They didn`t use too much chocolate to make everything look dark and heavy, but it was a 40 % chocolate/brown and 60% shades of pink. They choose about 3 shades of pink that were close in color, but gave a little variety and depth to the look. It also makes it easier to match up things beging that there are so many different shades of pink. Below is a link to a brown dress by Dessy. Good Luck!

I have actually done several wedding in your colors and it can be extremely beautiful .
As for white table linens you can do that with the colors but I would suggest otherwise. If you would like to pick my brain on this send me your email address.
I have been doing functions * weddings and such* for over 30 years.
