FOR SALE: Marisa Full Alencon Lace Gown (No. 504)
Marisa Wedding Gown - Style No.504
Diamond-white, strapless all over beaded alencon lace. Princess gown with chapel train. The lace cascades down the gown with lightly scattered beads & sequins over the entire dress and train. The back of the gown has a mid/low v-shaped back as can be seen in the pictures - I fell in love with this gown based on the back : ) Label size 10 (this designer in particular runs quite small), however I wear a size 4/6 and had the gown altered (taken in about an 1" inch) slightly in in the chest and waist area to fit measurements:
34-chest
25-waist
36-hips
My seamstress added bra cups to the inside of the gown lining which eliminates the need to wear a strapless bra or corset and was extremely comfortable - these cups can also be removed.
I am 5`9" and wore 1 3/4" heels and the gown was the perfect length. No alterations were done on the length of the gown. My seamstress installed 2 hooks on the underside of the gown`s train for a 1-point french bustle which can be used or you can have the dress altered for a different bustle if you prefer. The gown was bought in 2005 and worn for my May 2006 wedding. The gown retails for approximately $2600.00 and above in bridal salons - I am asking $1300.00. Buyer pays shipping, I will ship anywhere in US or international. It has been professionally cleaned and stored and is in excellent condition. I hate to part with this gorgeous gown but I`d rather another bride get to wear it on her wedding day than for it to sit in my closet or attic. Thanks for looking!
