Dollar Dance

Please help....my son`s best man kept the money from the dollar dance. When asked he gave my son $53.00. I heard the maid of honor yell out at the wedding she had $110.00+ and that was only from the grooms side. The brides side probably rec`d more. Should I leave my son handle the problem or should I e-mail the best man? Help
