It depends how formal you plan to be. I think that if you just want a causal beach wedding, you could go to a local grocery store or florist on your way and pick up a pre-arranged, simple bouquet of flowers. What else are you interested in information on? What kind of a wedding are you going for? what is your budget like?

Well, I plan on wearing a sun dress, or something very casual, going bare foot. I `m not planning on spending alot ...but enough to make it nice. I just need some ideas...Someone suggested each of us taking a handful of sand and putting it in a bottle as a keep sake. :) any other ideas?

My wedding (just started planning 1/6) is going to be on or near the beach on Feb 5. :o) I found a group of people, a business of sorts I assume, who build special sand creations for occasions like weddings. Maybe there would be someone there to do that for you and arrange some flowers in the sculptures.

Where are you having the reception?

I would try some of the more exotic looking flowers. You can get away with bright colors because you`re on the beach. My friend rented an arbor and wove some netting through it. Then she poked some lilies and roses and gladiolas in the arbor here and there. The arbor faced the ocean and away from the sun so the guests got this sense that they were surrounded in the sea. It was beautiful.
