Wedding Vow Renewal

In 2009, my hubby and I will celebrate our 25th anniversary. When we married, we were VERY worldly, although we had a fairy tale romance of 2 months! We married where we met, which was in a nightclub where he bartended! We both were married before, and now, upon our approaching 25th, we want to renew our vows. I`m thinking I would like the church etc., just in order to have our church family and because I didn`t have it before, but I`m just not sure. Afterward, we want to take our son, wife and granddaughter on a family vacation, which is something else we have never done. We want it to be extremely memorable and special for all of us. We lost our oldest son in a car accident 2 years ago so this will also be another healing time for all of us. Any ideas?

There is a lady who makes candles and she puts pictures in them (really nice) and you can have that to add to the ceremony as a memorial after you do the Unity candle. It helps to give your son a presence at the wedding. Also, you can Unify the entire family by having extra candles and having your other child`s family all light the center candle together. There is a wonderful book called the Everything Wedding Book and it helps to make the planning easy. It is really nice. For centerpieces, you can have pictures surrounded by tulle of each year of your marriage. Family pictures or pictures of you and your husband over the years. This way people can see the years that you have shared. If you want that information about the candle, leave your e-mail address and I will give it to you. She did my father`s candle for my wedding and I had the Praise and Worship team to do a dance so that it was like the dance with my father. It was wonderful. Since she is not a vendor, I can`t leave her information on here or they will remove this post. For a family vacation, you can do a cruise. Royal Caribbean has wonderful cruises for the family, there is rock climbing, bike riding, roller and ice skating (all on the cruise) and it is really nice. You will have the time of your life and the shows are wonderful. They have a pool that has a water slide for kids. I had a wonderful time on my cruise. They also decorate the cabin for honeymooners.

Hi Mika, what an incredible idea! Yes, please send me the info at fertc790@yahoo.com
I was thinking Hawaii, but it`s really more expensive than I thought, especially for 4 adults and 1 child (possibly 2). Thanks again and I will look forward to getting the info. Candy
