Catering
How do I go about starting my own catering business? Do I need a license? Can I do it out of my own home?

First: GO TO CULINARY SCHOOL TO LEARN ABOUT THE BUSINESS.
Second: YES, YOU DO NEED A LICENSE (retail business).
Third: yes, you can work out of your home, but it would be considered A-LA-CARTE!
Fourth: ggod luck in your endeavors, because there`s more to catering (than meets the eye)--it involves the following: chefs (the variety of foods ou there), pricing/stock & inventory, bartending (YOU NEED A LIQUOR LICENSE), CONNECTIONS, HEALTH INSPECTORS, REVENUES (investors), and the list goes on.
