Camo Wedding

My fiance is the same way. There are camo tuxedo vests out there. I can`t remember the webiste but if you search camo tuxedo vests you will find them. I am having him and his groomsmen wear black tuxes and the camo vests underneath.

I know Marie at Wink Design Group in MN has made camo wedding gowns before. She also does interesting invitations, maybe you should check there?

I am getting married in October at my honeys hunting camp, which is gorgeous, and I have been searching and searching for very cheap and unique but fun and still tasteful camo ideas. So far this is what I have.

* the ring barrer is going to walk out with a gun (fake of course) and the ring hanging off the barrell. I loved that idea...my mom thought of it.

*instead of outright camo clothing I am going to incorporate a touch of camo into my dress maybe into the train and around the waist. My girls are going to have brown dresses with camo ties around the waist as well. The guys are going to have camo ties and camo boat shoes. Sounds tacky but it will be very dressed down...which I want.

* the centerpeces are going to be log halves with holes drilled in them with candles. Maybe incorporating feathers and river rock (which come in big bags for like $3 or $4 at any place that sell plants)

* using sticks and painting them white or gold or silver or even just spraying with glitter could be a cute and inexpensive way to get a cute decoration. You can put them in mesh bags with rocks or dirt and tie a camo ribbon around it and set the on every other isle at the ceremony and then use them at the reception as well.

I know this is real country but there is a website you can go on to order coozies and get stuff printed on them. I think it is customcoozies.com it`s pretty cheap too.

Also to save $$$ I am not buying champagne..no one really likes it that much and its $10 or more for one bottle. We decided to let our guests toast with whatever drink they want. That is just a non traditional idea...I think I am trying stay away from tradition.

Hi Sara, Like you I am also getting married to an avid hunter and wants the same thing. I found that if you also put a dark green and brown in your wedding the camo doesnt overwhelm you and ppl will be able to see you! What Im doing, and id be happy to share with you, is my maid of honor will wear a brown dress with a green ribbon and the rest of the bridesmaids will wear a green dress with a brown ribbon. The Best man will wear a brown vest and the groomsmen with wear green. As for me and my FH, we will have camo, I will have a camo ribbon around my wait will a veil that have camo around the edges and he will have a camo vest. The rest of the decorations will have brown, green and camo. Hope this helps!
