Money Or A Gift?
My mother and I are throwing a surprise bridal shower for my brother`s fiancee. The problem - she lives in Seattle and we live in Nashville. She will be here with my brother for a weekend and are doing the shower then. She won`t have any way to get gifts back because she will be flying. Money would be the best option here. Is there an acceptable way to explain this to people so it doesn`t sound like we are expecting a gift?

If she is registered, the gift will be sent to her address avoiding the logistic problem of getting gifts home. An acknowledgement of the gift at the shower would be appropriate.
