I think being creative is the way to go. When I got married, I made wedding bears and had my cousin make gowns for the bears in the colors of my wedding and everyone that got a bear, it had a tag on the ear asking them to stand with me on my wedding day as a Bridesmaid, flower girl or MOH. Just asking is not enough. Make it creative.

I am taking my girlfriends out to lunch the day we are looking for dresses (they think we are going shopping for whatever). I wrote a poem for them and I have a gift for them ( I decorated longunderwear for them to wear under their dress for pictures-winter wedding). You could give them a card-they have will you be my bridesmaid cards on the internet. If you are crafty you could make your own. Give them a poem with your picture in it... Hope these ideas help!

Thanks, they really loved the bears and I loved the fact that they have something to remember how I asked them. I wanted unique and that is what I went for.
