I really don`t think this thread has anything to do with weddings and should be removed from the website. It unfairly gives Target a bad name for no reason whatsoever.

I have dealt with Target for many different functions (including 2 weddings) and have had no major problems with them.

My sister registered at Target and she found it to be a wonderful avenue. Target is located across the country, and convienient for all. Items are also well priced for all budgets. As a guest to the shower I was relieved to see a list of what the new mother ACTUALLY wants and needs. Target was a big help.

What`s wrong with registering at Target?

When my hubby and I married 4 years ago, we registed at Target and I swore I would never recommend it to anyone. My reasoning was because I received duplicate gifts without receipts and Target was unwilling to let me return them. Wal-Mart on the other hand, has a WONDERFUL return policy, where no receipt is needed, but they`ll give you store credit.

Now that we are registering for baby items, I am uncertain what to do because I LOVE Target`s selection compared to the other stores, yet, the return policy is frustrating...

I tried to return a pair of jeans that did not fit my daughter at Target. I ended up leaving in frustration, giving the jeans to some lady with a daughter on my way out of the store! The return policy there is so strict, that it makes utilizing the registry difficult. Be sure to have the store manager address all of your concerns, and become fully acquainted with their return policy before you register!
